EX-LIBRARY, outer/inner hinges cracked, front cover archivally re-attached on the inside but is still loose, spine darkened, covers have scuffing, with small ink name (contemporary?), some soiling and staining, bookplate, contemporary ink names (one dated 1829), ffep has an edge tear, scattered light foxing else good to very good condition. Textblock tight. Samuel Heywood was a prominent barrister and lawyer who was appointed Chief Justice of the Carmathen Circuit of Wales in 1807. SCARCE.
