The "Honor" dealt with Cobb's 20th anniversary as a Detroit Tiger, a testimonial dinner and the attendees/speakers included Connie Mack and Frank J. Navin, the team's owner. Detroit's mayor stated "Two names alone in Detroit's history are associated with the supreme degree of achievement in their respective fields, Henry Ford and Ty Cobb". SCARCE.
