Of interest is a page showing the Boston Red Sox's pitchers for the 1916 World Series, featured in the center is a very young Babe Ruth (24 years old). Ruth made his Major League debut with the Boston Red Sox on July 11, 1914. The Red Sox defeated the Brooklyn Robins in four games to win the World Series on October 11. Less than six months later the United States would enter WWI on April 4th. SCARCE.
