9.5 x 6.25", gilt-lettered embossed leather with fold-out cloth and leather spines inside rear cover, first 60pp are "Vox Populi, Vox Dei" with blurbs and testimonials about Stormy Ben Butler and his book, a worn copy with spine detached (some present loose), pp toned and worn, extremities bumped and chipping. The subscribers in the prospectus are mainly from Lebanon, Ohio. There are seven pages of original subscribers (not printed in by the publisher) who have a wide variety of occupations. Some of the eager readers: C.E. Lewis(sp?), rotographer; H.F. Dains, key shop; H.A. Dyer, fish dealer; C.M. Hildreth, hardware; F.S. Slaughter, farmer; B.M. Raynalds, depot master. Not the whole book- a sample copy using sample pages!
