Folding maps ("Kent" and "Canterbury"), extra illus. title page; 44 full page engraved plates, 6.25 x 4", gilt-ruled straight-grained black morocco; aeg, covers a bit rubbed, extremities a bit worn, spine with some abrasions, front inner hinge cracked, some foxing to maps and plates else a decent book, with an old Detroit bookseller's label ("Williams Book Shop") pasted on front fly. FORE-EDGE PAINTING OF A BRIDGE WITH AN OLD SAILING SHOP NEARBY (identified in pencil as "Rochester"). In a custom blue cloth, gilt-lettered clamshell case.
