THE GAME OF SNAP "Low Priced Edition"

Salem, Mass. nd (c. 1920s). Paperback. Very Good. Item #21-9710

This card game has 56 cards with a variety of scenes; an alligator about to eat a small African American boy fishing, two white gentlemen with one pushing the other, a jack-in-the-box springing out to scare a child, a child with a pea shooter firing at an adult, etc. A fairly morose set of images on the cards. No directions included. The 56 cards are worn and one is torn, but images are clear. The box is well-used with a one inch abrasion at the top and measures 4" x 5.5", with a faded detached chromolithograph on the cover of an alligator ready to eat a small African American child fishing. Please note: we are selling this as an historical relic documenting America's past. We are not promoting the sickening disease of racism.
