Box 12 x 9", pict paper cover showing a player ready to bat with the catcher behind him, underside of the lid has the game instructions, printed game board with spinner inside bottom of box. Lacks original envelope with nine each blue red discs, box is well loved/worn: lacks one side panel, others are taped on, front cover illus. torn and missing a piece, game sheet has small holes, spinner is a little rusty but works. Add your own discs to replace the missing ones or would look nice framed. The instructions mention that it would be exciting to represent two professional baseball teams, the Philadelphia "Athletics" and the Boston "Braves". This particular "edition" of the game was issued to celebrate Boston's upset four-game sweep of Philadelphia in the 1914 World Series. SCARCE in any condition. SWAF.
