INSCRIBED "To Mrs. Pearl Connor as a token of respect...August 23, 1913" AND SIGNED BY THE AUTHOR. Also included are two postcards of Kennard (one portrait, same as on cover of book; other is a photo of his diving off of Plymouth Pier at age 68; both unused), plus an AUTOGRAPH LETTER SIGNED to Miss Connor, presenting this book; Connor had been "...helping us at the organ Sunday after Sunday..." and was leaving; letter in original envelope with inscription in Kennard's hand. Kennard was a famed bicycle and fitness enthusiast. SCARCE.
