Watch on De Rind No. 502

Churchville, NY, 1931. Paperback. Very Good. Item #21-8937

Directions on the interior of the box states the object of the game is to shoot the wooden balls into the holes in the target for points. The chromolithograph in vibrant colors on the box top is the same as the target in the box. This target is a picture of three black children with exaggerated features holding slices of watermelon and one child with his mouth open. Points are awarded for each target. This game has 3 of 6 wooden balls and 1 spring shooter. The box is 11.5 x 11.5" with cellophane tape repairs and a 2.5" piece of the edge missing. The box shows wear but is in display-ready condition. Please note: we are selling this as a historical relic documenting America's racist past. We are not promoting the sickening disease of racism.
