Illus., 9 x 6", gilt-dec illus. brown cloth; aeg, 624pp, covers a bit rubbed and soiled, extremities bumped and fraying, rear inner hinge cracked (but not detached), front inner hinge cracking, ink inscription from former owner, pp63-66 sliced in margin, but still a pretty nice looking copy of the FIRST EDITION, SECOND STATE (no Twain in flames on p441, "St. Louis" on p443).
