THE ORIGINAL FORD JOKE BOOK

Woodward Publishing Co.: Binghamton, (1915). Paperback. Very Good. Item #21-7704

5.5 x 5", pict stapled wraps, 49pp. Covers creased and soiled, staining to the front cover, tears to top and bottom of spine, contents have toning, creasing, center section detached and a book dealer stamp (Crime Book Center Chicago). Some of the jokes: "Henry Ford, the man who made walking a pleasure"; "Son, what would you do if I presented you with a Ford?" "I'd do anything, father, but ride in it". One really hysterical entry is "The Twenty-Third (Ford) Psalm": "The Ford is my auto, I shall not want another. It maketh me to lie beneath it..." I come from a Ford family (the Rouge plant) but still find these well-written jokes funny. Hey, Jim Farley, do you have a copy? FIRST EDITION, VERY SCARCE.
