Color illus. including original watercolors by Randall; photos, 8.5 x 7", beautifully gilt-dec brown crushed Morocco with inlaid blue leather flowers at corners, insides of covers are gilt-ruled and gilt pict (haystack) green Morocco, silk flys, vp, spines sunned, minor extremity wear, outer hinges a little rough, silk flys a little spotted, textblock edges toned, bookplates of a Robert Keller Eaton in each volume, but still a beautiful set. LIMITED TO 150 NUMBERED SETS (this is not numbered, but numbers replaced with two gold stars), attested by G.B. Randall (signed). The poem (in volume one) "Lockerbie Fair" is SIGNED AT END BY THE AUTHOR, JAMES WHITCOMB RILEY. ALSO, TIPPED IN AT FRONT OF VOLUME ONE IS AN EIGHT-LINE AUTOGRAPH POEM SIGNED BY RILEY, DATED 1890: "The Old Friends, Be they sung/Full Blithe and Tenderly!.."
