4 x 2.5". Corners clipped, edgewear, scattered spotting, offsetting, removal marks. The officer is wearing light trousers, dark frock coat with shoulder straps, belt, sword and holding a kepi hat. No identification of the officer but the 7th New York Cavalry was organized in Troy in 1861. Comes with another Civil War carte de visite, unrelated? No photographer, no name of soldier, soiling/spotting/wear, head shot, dark frock cot with darker collar, no shoulder straps. Sold as a pair.
