Oblong 4 x 6.5", light yellow/tan, less than half printed on both sides. Postally used, overall light soiling, spotting and wear, very good condition. All the cards were sent to the C.A. and G.A. Raupp estate in Ecourse, Michigan, the Raupps had a lumber mill for many years in Ecourse. The cards featured either long stories or a single sentence that had a punch ie. "Not to fall out with the friend who disagrees with you- that's culture", "Tombstones are cold are cheerless things, but they have a good word for everyone under them", "Take a firm interest in your firm's interest if you want to make yourself solid with the boss". The H.M. Reynolds Shingle Company of Grand Rapids started up in 1868. A total of 44 cards, sold as a lot only.
