Three memorial tributes for Detroit music publisher, businessman and benefactor Jerome H. Remick

1- Frontis, 12 x 9", black pebbled cloth, gilt lettering, vellum pages, capital letters and illus. in color, unpaginated, from the board of directors of the Detroit Creamery, tucked in loose are letters from Children's Hospital of Michigan and The Detroit Savings Bank. 2 and 3- 11.5 x 9", black pebbled leather, neither has vellum pages, unpaginated, tributes are from the board of directors of the Union Guardian Trust Company with letters from the Guardian Detroit Union Group and Union Guardian Trust Company in one and the other from the board of directors of Parke, Davis & Company along with a letter from the same. Letters have creasing, covers have light wear and rubbing else very good condition. Comes with: framed engraving of Jerome H. Remick's father, James A. Remick [np (Detroit) nd (late 19thc.)], image is approximately 11.5 x 8.5", not examined out of frame, wood frame is missing pieces and is cracked, image has staining and light spotting. James A. Remick was part of the family's lumber business, Remick-Whitney and helped to found the Oak Grove Sanitarium in Flint, Michigan. Jerome H. Remick was a gentleman farmer with a large farm on Gratiot Avenue, president of the Detroit Symphony Orchestra and at one time was the largest publisher of sheet music in the world. A total of four items, sold as a lot.
