The genealogy notes are from the Ashbel F. Bedford family of Ionia, Michigan, Bedford's grandson, Albert Griffing Bedford, was a well known Detroit realtor. Some of the book's offerings: "Edystone Light-house" (in Plymouth Sound), "Prints Of Human Feet In Rocks", "Great Fall Of Fall River" (Mass.), the Rochester Aqueduct; Dr. Samuel Johnson; African animals, owls, bees, poetry etc.
