11 x 8.5", playscripts are both original and copies. Worn lot, some without covers, soiled, stained, toned, loose pages, tears and the expected notes and underlining. The plays are: "Society Wolf", "What Happened At 3 A.M.", "Price Of Happiness", "A Girl Like You", "Schwanson's Dream", "Canned", "Edith's Wild Ride", "Maggie" (incomplete)- these are all one copy each. These plays have more than one copy: "Bird In Hand" (4), "It's Up To You" (2, both partial), "Eve Of Success" (2). Additionally, there are six duplicates of the title page only of "Major Meg". Comes with: 2 black and white photos (9 x 7", 8 x 10") of Delia Clarke, 10 advertisements (all duplicates) for "Introduce Me", text and photos, a mailing envelope. Written on a couple of the scripts "Represented by Frank M. Witmark, 144 W. 37th" (New York), Stamped on another "From Geo. W. Winniett, 1402 Broadway New York". Photos and advertising are soiled and creasing. Michigan native Delia Clarke (Mrs. J.F. Sullivan) was an actress turned playwright. In the 1914 "Who's Who In Musical Drama" it is noted that her more pretentious efforts are a musical comedy, "A Bird In The Hand..." Over 30 items, not collated, sold as is.
