Printed and manuscript document from 1722 signed by Judge Penn Townsend in which two men from Boston, David Dolbeer, cordwainer and James Barry, farmer, each owe five pounds, additionally Dolbeer is charged with breaking the windows of farmer Thomas Mason of Boston

Dolbeer is to appear on March 27th next due to "specially being complained of by Thomas Mason...for (?) his house, with several others, on the eighth of February about eight o'clock at night, and breaking his windows, whereby he was in danger of being hurt..." Penn Townsend, 1651-1727, was a member of the Ancient and Honorable Artillery Company of Boston, speaker of the House, Chief Justice of the Superior Court for Suffolk County. Document signed on the back by David Dolbeers.
