This series, comprised of twenty three (that we know of) volumes, we have eighteen. Each has a different subject, it was created for grammar school children. Some of the titles: "Marquette and Joliet", "The Old Fur Traders", "Clark And The 'Hair Buyer'", "Surrender Of Detroit", "Michigan In Slavery Days", "Michigan In The Civil War".
