Five folding maps, 16 x 10", polished paneled diced calf with six (of eight) ornate brass corners and two brass clasps (one complete), spine ends chipped, spine torn vertically, paper adhesions to front cover, some scratches but still a handsomely preserved binding; pp browned and chipping/creased, ink inscription inside front cover (dated 1692), bookplate, new front endpaper, scattered marginal worming; includes "Map of Jerusalem", "All of the Earth", "Map of Canaan", "The Travels of St. Paul and other Apostles", maps by Joseph Moxon (edges harshly trimmed missing portions of maps), plus "Paradise or the Garden of Eden" by Nicholas Visscher. BOUND WITH: THE HOLY BIBLE Containing the Old Testament and the New 1683 (with illus. title page, no publisher, New Testament title page placed before Old Testament, with Apocrypha); and WHOLE BOOK OF PSALMS, Stationers: London 1679.
