Fifty plates (three in color including maps), 9 x 6", blindstamped brown cloth, gilt spine lettering, 536pp. Covers well worn, rubbed and spotted, lacks spine tips, gilt lettering almost completely gone, front inner hinge/textblock cracked, endpapers toned and one is missing a piece, toning, waterstaining to last few pages else good. Some of the contents: "Apples For Gardens", "Theory And Practice of Budding And Grafting", "Cotton Production", "How To Make Stilton Cheese", "General Principles Of Wine-Making". Very attractive color plate of strawberries and sheep (single) plate.
