Early U.S. Social Security card dated 12-21-36, approximately one month after the very first one was issued

Oblong 1.75 x 3.25", light wear and soiling else very good condition. The card was issued to Otto Linnel Matthews, who according to the 1940 census lived at 2632 Burlingame Ave., Detroit, Michigan, with his wife and daughter. Comes with a handmade typed business card, taped and stained for "The Aulsbrook Co." at the same address. SCARCE early card.
