Tipped in at front of vol. 1 is a TYPED LETTER SIGNED BY HARRY CHANDLER (publisher of the Los Angeles Times and real estate mogul) on his letterhead presenting this set to his niece, Lillian ("Arnie") McPherron Leaf, whose name is printed on the Limitation Page in vol. 1.
