W.H. Figary, photographer, 158 Rushton Rd. Toronto. 3.5 x 5.5". Removed from an album, corner creasing, light scratches and soiling else good. The postcard lacks any identification except for the photographer. However, the image is identical to the other photos taken at exhibition camp except the soldiers are different. Three rows of seventeen soldiers pose behind crossed bayonets and a fencing mask, a brick wall is behind them. Canada entered WWI on August 4, 1914 and all the soldiers recruited in Toronto were housed and trained at the camp. Various troops were sent overseas from there including the 15th and 19th Battalions. SCARCE image.
