Group of 39 original sketches/blueprints/notes, 1905-1910, for the Trimountain Mine, Houghton County, Michigan

8 x 11", a few are 7 x 4" or a bit smaller; blueprint, graph, letterhead, card stock. Staining, edge tears/tears, creasing, overall good to very good condition. There are fewer blueprints than sketches, some of the blueprints have an identical sketch. Items bear the engineers' initials of "HM", "ODF, Jr.", "N", "F" and most are numbered. Titles of the blueprints/sketches, in part: Globe Mine, hospital pharmacy, Jacob staff mounting for rocket compass, stamp bonnet, splash pans for round mortar, grate for #4 boiler. Also, on Champion Copper Company letterhead which is stamped "Drawing From Engineer's Office Trimountain Mine" and in pencil "Table of Underground Labor". The rest of the contents: 9 on company letterhead graph paper labeled "Tons Stamp Rock Hoisted per Shaft 1905" with pencil note "These total amts. Divided by skips hoisted give the average load stamp rock per skip per shaft"; a small card printed "shaft", "level", "notebook", etc. and "remarks", filled in. Finally, on Trimountain letterhead from H.T. Mercer, dated Oct. 17, 1902 "Description of Trimountain School Lot". A total of 39 pieces, plus original mailing envelope for a total of 40 pieces, sold as a lot. SCARCE mining records.
