Maps, illus., charts, three are printed stapled wraps (1893, 1894, 1898), remainder is green cloth, gilt lettering, all 9 x 6", pagination varies. The covers of the wraps are fair-poor, contents fair. 24 of the 27 hardcovers are in very good-fine condition with the usual light wear, rubbing, occasional smudging, the others have light staining, cracked inner hinge and lacks a ffep and has toning and staining. Volumes I and III have the bookplates of former Michigan governor Chase S. Osborn, he also signed Volume III. There were 8 occasions where the meetings were held 1918-1921, Volume XXII was held in 1922. Each of the "Proceedings" has articles by well known geologists, engineers, scientists, etc. Topics covered- in part- silver and copper mines and mining, mineral deposits, plant life, explosives, acetylene and underground lights, workman's comp., pumping plants. The Upper Peninsula of Michigan is the main focus but there are several articles on various regions in Minnesota and Wisconsin. Group of 30 volumes, sold as a lot only. SCARCE.
