Woodcut frontis of the Queen of Sheba, titled "Balkis" as she was known in Islam. EXTRA-ILLUSTRATED BY AN UNKNOWN ARTIST WITH SIX BOLD AND BEAUTIFUL WATERCOLOR DRAWINGS IN THE TEXT (Drawings related to the story with a wonderful portrait of Sheba on p9, couple of the original drawings have the initials "L.M.").
