Stadler, photographer. 5.25 x 3.25", card stock, printed on both sides. Soiling, scattered light spotting, horizontal crease below image else good. The calendar has a headshot of a beautiful brunette with bare shoulders who was looking directly at the photographer. Below her is the company name, address (2511-2531 W. 18th St., Chicago) and the month of August 1912. On the reverse is product advertisement "Absolutely Pure Cocoanut Butters...Acomo Butter...for chocolate work...Acomine...for salting nuts." The American Cocoanut Butter Company plant had a fire on August 11, 1913 in which six firemen were injured, three ammonia tanks exploded before the flames extinguished, a property loss of $150,000. They later moved to Van Buren Avenue and remained in business until the early 1920s. Attractive image. Memorabilia from American Cocoanut Butter Co. and Stadler are SCARCE.
