Second impression, but INSCRIBED AND SIGNED BY THE AUTHOR, LENNOX ROBINSON, ON TITLE PAGE, DATED MAY 1942. Enclosed is a note from "Florence" to the recipient, Veronica, detailing how she got the book signed, and how difficult things were in Ireland during the war; also, a newspaper clipping that has discolored the note along with the page where it was stored (p19).
