Includes loose recipe clippings/notes/cards/envelopes (one dated 1927) and an ad for "Toddy Recipes", a chocolate malt drink. Some of the recipes from the church cookbook: Shrimp Wiggle, Pressed Meat Or Trembling Joke, Lemon Jelly Cake, Huckleberry Cake, Olive Oil Pickles, Egyptian Egg. Nice local ads: Maxwell Motor Company, The Misses Bowles Dry Goods, Dresden Brick Co., Seidel Printing Co., Henkel's Bread Flour, Doty Brothers Drug Stores. Forest Avenue Presbyterian Church was located at the northeast corner of Forest and Second Aves. Sold as is.
