St. Marks Printing & Publishing: NY, (1928). Hardcover. Very Good. Item #21-4593
Illus., 9.5 x 6", cloth with colorful pict label showing a young (not too happy looking) lady cooking, 338pp, covers rubbed, soiled and partially stained (not moldy), extremities bumped and fraying, old torn price sticker on back cover, ink recipes (in English) and numbers/notes on blank endpapers, front inner hinge cracked, pp toned; a well-used copy, but still an interesting and SCARCE Hungarian cookbook. Stamped on the title page "Delray Music Shop 8120 West Jefferson Detroit, Mich." The music shop was run by Mrs. John Poncsak and offered records, sheet music, imported embroideries, china, and gifts. Sadly, not much of this once thriving neighborhood is left.
