Detroit, November 11, 1918. Paperback. Very Good. Item #21-2838
Personal snapshot, no photographer. 4.5 x 2.5". Image light, removal marks from an album, light staining (from glue), curled else good. Scratches on image are from the negative (not present). People are shown standing in front of an iron(?) fence on the sidewalk, the band in front, all wearing some kind of white hat, cars lining the cross street. The Dodge Brothers Industrial Band was organized in 1917 after the United States entered the war. All the members either worked at the Dodge factory or a munitions plant, their director was Alessandro Liberati. Very SCARCE image, but unfortunately not a clear image.
