Not listed but the photographer was Thomas R. Schlientz, longtime manager of John K. King Books. 3.5 x 3.5". Tiny pinhole on top margin else very good condition. President Kennedy visited Detroit on October 6, 1962 on a congressional campagin trip. There was a rally on that day in front of the Sheraton-Cadillac Hotel to discuss the importance of electing Democrats in the 1962 congressional elections. His support was for Michigan's Democrat Governor Swainson, he was to be defeated by George Romney. Detroit was one of four stops that day for the president. SCARCE.
