Plates I-CXCII, 11 x 8.5", half leather; marbled boards, covers well worn, hinges almost broken, extremities bumped and chipping, ink numbers on front fly, pp spotted and foxed, but that just gives the plates character (we hope). Also includes maps of North and South America, Asia, Austria and China; nice plates (some folding) of Agriculture, Civil Architecture, Anatomy, Bridges, Botany, Astronomy, machinery, etc. There is no title page, though the spine reads "Edinburgh Encyclopaedia", and the collation agrees with the Parker 1832 edition. WITH MILLARD FILLMORE'S "MISCELLANEOUS LIBRARY" BOOKPLATE (unnumbered).
