Dearborn nd (late 1920s- Photos range in size from 3.5 x 9.5 to 7.5 x 10, mounts range between 8 x 14 to 11 x 14, written in ink on reverse of 8 of 10 mounts is "Photographed and Colored by Asa A. Stutsman, Dearborn, Mich." only the photo of Dearborn High School is labeled. Photographs are very good, mounts have toning, soiling, ligh creasing, edge wear. There is a photograph each of the Ford Engineering Laboratory, Dearborn Inn and Dearborn High School, three different views of the Dearborn Golf and Country Club and four different views of Henry Ford Museum. The Ford Motor Company Engineering Laboratory and Dearborn Golf and Country Club were both designed by Albert Kahn, the Dearborn Inn was designed by Albert Kahn and Henry Ford. COMES WITH: An unmounted hand colored photo of what appears to be one of the "Model A" houses from what is now called the Ford Historic Homes District, very good. Asa A. Stutsman was a graduate of the Illinois School for the Deaf, worked for The Detroit Free Press for many years and was married to Grace Taft, a graduate of Gallaudet College. A total of 11 photographs, all exterior views, sold as a lot only. Would look attractive framed.
