Group of 60 b&w Photos of the 36th Engineer Combat Group Building a Bridge in Korea during the Korean War.

Korea 1952 Majority of the photos are 4 x 5 with a few smaller and larger ones, no photog listed. Curled, musty smell, light spotting, soiling and staining, rusty paper clip marks, light creasing, occasional brief notes, some might be copies, couple of duplicate images. The very few notes are brief, wirtten on either the front or back. The two longest ones read "Bridge 19-2. Rebuilding 490 T/S Bailey in Preparation for Launching on raised piers. 310. 19 May" and "19-2 Stream to be Diverted and Bridged for Site A". Mostly photos are marked "Site A" or "Site B" and "east" and "west." One is an aerial photo labeled "11th HQ". Comes with two carbon copies, one for the "Costs summary for proposed bridge 3D-3" and a "Bill of material for piers. Proposed for site 3D-3." Both have fold creases and are 10.5 x 8. Also comes with a holiday card 4.5 x 5, cream colored with a red and white shield with a seahorse on the front, inside is trimmed with green and has a printed greeting "Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. 36th Engineer Combat Group. Korea 52." Creasing, soiling, scratches. The 36th Engineer Combat Group was located alongside Route 22 east of MS R-3 near Tae-de-gul. Sold as a lot.
