One letter each from Independent United Order of Mechanics Friendly Society Ionic Lodge No. 36, Detroit, Mich., Jan. 22, 1928; Queen Esther's Grand Chapter No. 1, NY, May 10, 1928; Panama, No. 1 District, July 28, 1906; regarding Brother Edmund M.T. Hayne

Detroit and NY (1928) and Republic of Panama (1906). All three are 8.5 x 11, the letters are stapled together at the top. Creasing, soiling, staining, tears, the letter from Panama has been glued to a firmer paper. The Detroit letter is handwritten, signed by the "P.G." and the secretary with two nice Masonic blindstamps; the NY letter is typed and signed by the Ill. And D.G.R. matrons and the W. Patron; the Panama letter is a printed form, blank areas filled in, signed by the "G.M. Foreign Section: and the Grand Secretary, two Panama masonic ink stamps. The last letter reads (in part) "This is to certify that our well-beloved Brother Edmund M.T. Haynes is a member of the Mystic Lodge, No. 14 I.U.O. of M.F.S. located in Colony Republic of Panama and working under a legal and unforfeited Dispensation, granted by the Grand Council (England) and who is now amalgamated to the above-named District: and has by virtue of rights obtained the Sir Knight's Degree of the order and is legally a District Officer. . .
