Fitzgerald, F. Scott

"The Cut-Glass Bowl" and "The Four Fists" two short stories in Scribner's Magazine for May and June 1920; Scribner's Magazine Vol. LXVII Nos. 1-6 January-June 1920

Scribner's: New York 1920 Illus., black buckram, gilt spine lettering, (800pp). Ex-library, bound without magazine covers, covers worn, scratched, rubbed, lettering sunned, corners and spine tips bumped, free endpapers detached, text block cracked, edge tears/tears, soiling/staining, some tape repaired pages, some pencil scribbling, several pages of ads roughly torn out, lower corner of a Fitzgerald story lacking but does not affect text. A few months later in 1920 both of these stories appeared in a book in "Flappers and Philosophers". Contents also include a short story illustrated by N.C. Wyeth, "Devilled Sweetbreads" by Maxwell Burt plus several excerpts from the letters of Theodore Roosevelt.
