Various places 1975-1977 Six letters: 1) 2pp on Hotel Pontchartrain, Detroit, letterhead, 11/19/1975, one chewed corner, folds, wear but with a couple of ink corrections by Fairbanks; 2) 4 pp with return address "The Vicarage" Palm Beach, FL, 2/18/1976; 3) 1 pp on The Vicarage letterhead, 4/12/1976; 4) 1pp on Imperial Hotel, Cork letterhead, 6/7/1976 with ink corrections; 5) 1pp on 10 Park Place, London letterhead, 8/9/19776, with a spot in margin; 6) 2 pp on The Vicarage letterhead, 1/27/1977, some minor spotting. Fairbanks discusses Errol Flynn's personality, Flynn's experience trying to enlist I WWII, and other stars (including David Niven, whose address he includes in one letter). EACH IS BOLDLY SIGNED BY DOUGLAS FAIRBANKS JR. ALSO: TYPED LETTER SIGNED BY DAVID NIVEN on his personal letterhead (Cap Ferrat), dated 6/8/76, referring recipient (same as in the DFJr letters) to his book BRING ON THE EMPTY HORSES for his memories of Errol Flynn: "I think that acting interested him a great deal less than many other things in his life, including living it to the full according to his own urges!"
