Columbus 1919 Oblong 10 x 16", printed form with the school name and date written in. Creased, light soiling and spotting, edge tears else good condition. Instructor's name not filled in. The Zanerian College of Penmanship was founded in 1888 in Columbus, Ohio. In 1904, the company published "The Zaner Method of Arm Movement", a simplified approach to writing that was taught at Zaner was now being made available to elementary students countrywide. Fannie M. Salo travelled a long distance from the Upper Peninsula of Michigan to attend this college, she was not quite sixteen when she received her certificate.
