Three real photo postcards by Canedy's Camera Shop of Kadoka, South Dakota: "Dacotah Hotell" and two very similar ones of "Main Street"

Canedy's Camera Shop 1946 3.5 x 5.5", postally unused. Note on the front right of the "Dacotah" and a note on the back of one of the "Main Streets", light wear, very good. On the "Dacotah" reads "Our Room" with an arrow and "Sign on Window 'Closed for Duration of OPA'", small sign on stand in front of the hotel, "Meals 35 cents". The "Main Street" cards are quite nice, business names can be read ie. C.A. Hunt General Merchandise, Tourist Café, Dacotah Hotel, but the best is the travel notes on the back of one of the cards: "A.M. Chamberlain Speedometer 60800 2:30 P.M. P.M. Kadoka Speedometer 60924 7:45 P.M. August 21, 1946. We started from Chamberlain about 2:30 P.M. and had little more than started on our way when Henry started to boil. We had to stop in every town we came to to fill 'er up. A flat tire added to our woes. About &:45 we stopped in Kadoka for the night and Dick did some work on flushing the radiator out. To bed 9:15." Sold as a lot.
