Record of Service of Michigan Volunteers in the Civil War Seventh Michigan Infantry

Ihling Bros. & Evernard: Kalamazoo, MI nd Frontis of Aaron T. Bliss, 9 x 6.5", brown cloth, 117pp. Covers rubbed and soiled, corners and spine tips bumped, endpapers toned with light soiling else very good. The Seventh Michigan Infantry, organized in Monroe, MI were active in many battles, ie. Bull Run, Fredericksburg, Chancellorsville, Gettysburg and the Appomattox Campaign. Comes with: Cabinet card photo of a group of eight men posing outdoors, three of whom are wearing Spanish-American War era army uniforms. (the cooking detail?) Oblong 5 x 8.5", np nd, no photographer listed. Soiled, creased, torn, image is a bit light. Some of the men are posing with a cleaver, hacksaw, food implements, behind them is a wooden shed and a tent. Perhaps one of them is a descendant of someone from the Seventh Michigan. Soldiers are wearing campaign hats from the WWI era.
