Original Photo of Baron Richard Nowak, circus performer billed as the "World's Tiniest Man."

np nd (1940s?) b&w, 5.5 x 3.5, light creasing and soiling else good/very good. Photo shows Baron Nowak dressed in a suit and bow tie against a tan background, 3.5 x 1.75 with the printed words "Sincerely Baron Nowak World's Tiniest Man. Prague-born Baron Richard Nowak, 1931-1997, appeared in American circuses from approx 1939-1943. The circuses he performed in were Hamid-Morton, Wallace Bros, Clyde Beatty and Barnett Bros. The 23" tall performer entertained crowds by playing the trumpet, singing, reciting poetry and tap dancing. Later in life he became a minister.
