Commemorative Bronze Medallion showing the image of Detroit's Eaton Tower on one side and mythological person driving a chariot on the reverse. [Broderick Tower].

Detroit (nd) 1928? Engraved by D.L. Auld Co (Columbus, Ohio). 2.75", light wear, a few nicks on the edge else very good. It might need a little cleaning if desired. The tower is the central image on the front with the words "Eaton" and "Tower" around the tower, on reverse is shown on older man driving a chariot and holding arrows in one hand, his horses rearing up because of the overhead thunderbolts, at the bottom "Eaton-Tower Detroit." Businessman Thomas Eaton hired architect Louis Kamper, who along with his son designed Eaton Tower which opened in 1928. In 1944, insurance broker David H. Broderick acquired the building and renamed it. In spite of some rough times this building has survived, and has gone through a massive restoration which was completed in 2012. Has been cleaned a bit.
