np nd (1967) Oblong 8 x 10, b&w, no photographer listed. Creasing, pencil date of 1967 on reverse else good/very good. Comes with a one-page reprint (one side only from the Saskatoon Star-Phoenix dated Thursday, July 28, 1966, pencil date of 1967, fold crease else good/very good. Photograph shows Soule in evening wear crouching on floor near four poodles dressed in showgirl costumes. The reprint gives detailed description of the poodles' costumes, interview with Soules. Gerard Soules started out his performing career as a trapese artist, then a plate-spinner with the Clyde Beatty/ Colex Circus and finally the famous dog act "Poodles de Paree." A total of two pieces, sold as a lot.
