Boston Cooking School Magazine: Boston 1936 and 1941 Illustr, 9.5 x 6.75, pict stapled wraps, pagination varies. Covers have light wear, soiling and creasing, small tears to spines, light soiling, inside rear cover/last page of one issue has small abrasions, pencil price on covers else good/very good. Some of the articles: "The Handicraft Movement in New Hampshire," "Menus Featuring Lenten Dishes," "Brick Bungalow with Tower Entrance," "Yes, I'll Have Six Nice Reindeer Chops, Please," "The Story of Celery." Some of the recipes: Blarney Stones, St. Patrick's Teaser, Russian Tea Loaf, Beet Juice Cocktail, Syrian Chicken Croquettes, reindeer and rabbit, Norwegian Rull, Kavkaski Shaslik and for our friend Andy who loves liver -- Calf's Liver with Cheese, Noodles with Liver Balls and the piece-de-resistance, Liver Stuffed Potatoes on the Half Shell. Nice ads for Marshmallow Fluff, L.L. Bean, Bell's Seasoning, Comet Rice, KitchenAid, Hotel Times Square. Unusually nice condition. A total of four issues, sold as a lot only.
