Original Photograph of Thomas Edison and Luther Burbank seated on Burbank's porch in Santa Rosa, California, in 1915, comes with a rppc of Burbank with Edison and a group of people.

Santa Rosa nd (1915) Photo is oblong 5 x 7, postcard 3 x 5. No photographer listed but on reverse of postcard is a note: "(Picture possibly taken by Olaf)". Both have album removal marks, uneven trimming and light soiling, photograph is curling and has a note on back "Thomas Edison & ?Luther Burbank? Santa Rosa," postcard has two tiny edge tears with additional note on reverse "Thomas Edison in Santa Rosa." Henry Ford and Thomas Edison were in San Francisco visiting the 1915 Panama Pacific Exposition when they received an invitation from Luther Burbank to visit him in Santa Rosa. Ford, Edison and a group of people including Harvey Firestone came to Santa Rosa on Ford's private railway car. Shown in the photograph is Mrs. Harvey Firestone and possibly Edsel Ford; Mina Edison is standing next to her husband in the postcard.
