Albert Kahn Inc: Detroit, MI 1937 Mostly photos, 11.25 x 8.75, two tone cloth, unpag, covers heavily rubbed and soiled, extremities fraying, hinges loose, ex-lib with usual markings, page edges wavy (from damp?) but no mildew odor. Kahn was Detroit's industrial architect giant; he designed plants for Henry Ford, Hudson Motor Car, Dodge, Fisher Body, Chevrolet, Park-Davis; also The Detroit News building (this copy was from The Detroit News library), the GM building (once the world's largest office building), Detroit's great Fisher Building, plus banks, apartment buildings, and even private residences.
