np nd No photographer listed for the younger image, older image was taken by Forrest & Lozo's Royal Photographic Gallery, Belleville (Ontario). 3.75 x 2.25, soiling and spotting, older image also has pinholes, creasing, tear at the top and sticker removal mark on reverse. In first photo, the unnamed corporal looks to be in his late 20s, beard neatly trimmed; in the other he looks to be 20 years later, long hair, long unkempt beard, thin, a haunted look in his eyes, eyes that are not looking at the camera. Perhaps he had been wounded or released from a prison. Sold as a pair.
