Group of 39 original b&w photos showing a family's trip from ? to the Sesqui-Centennial International Exposition in Philadelphia in 1926. Views include Niagara Falls, Philadelphia Museum of Art, replica of the Liberty Bell at the entrance to the Expositio

np (New York and Pennsylvania) nd (1926) 4 x 3, printed on Velox paper with ink numbers stamped on reverse. Light soiling/creasing/curling else good/very good. Photos were stored in worn and torn mailing envelope on which was written "Philadelphia Sesqui Centennial 1926." Shown are the cars they drove, scenes in the country i.e., railroad tracks and tunnels and sitting on a massive graffiti-laden rock, cars parked along the road with people going to/from (perhaps near Niagara Falls), various views of Niagara Falls, shipping locks, raised drawbridge, posing at the beach (Atlantic Ocean?), Philadelphia Museum of Art stairs, various buildings near the Philadelphia City Hall, statue of George Washington (?) seated on a horse (non-urban setting) and the 80' replica of the Liberty Bell at the gates of the Exposition. Sold as a lot.
